An Introduction to Slots
Slot games are one of the most favored games to wager on at casinos. On any night, bargain on most of the machines to be packed with enthusiastic gamblers. Before this invention, the term "slot machines" was used to describe different types of vending machines.
The first real widespread use of one armed bandits in US betting houses is attributed to the Flamingo Hotel, Sin City in and around 1940. The head of the brick and mortar casino had originally thought the machines would be amazing to entertain apathetic wives of some of the biggest whales of the casino. Little did he know that slot machine games would be a fun game for nearly everyone and that the enticement would extend further than the bored wives. Today, it is said, the slots comprise in excess of two-thirds of all revenue brought in by U.S. casinos.
Slot machine games absolutely have a rich history. From the little invention of the late-1800’s to the million dollar industry of today, slots will continue to grow in popularity.
